PACES Education Program Presenting Arts to Children in
Elementary Schools (PACES) is the Madera County Arts Council’s in-school Arts
Education program. Currently, Elementary Schools in the Madera Unified
School district, Coarsegold Elementary Schools, and Oakhurst Elementary use the PACES
program.
All Elementary Schools in Madera County are eligible to participate in this
program. Please contact the Madera County Arts Council to find out how you
can bring this program to your school!
Professional artists of all disciplines have created
workshops, assemblies and performances geared toward elementary students. Each
workshop addresses Visual and Performing Arts Standards adopted by the state of
California in January 2004 as well as California English-Language Arts Content
Standards.
